CONCORD, MA — Starting Thursday and into next week, localized roadway resurfacing work will start town-wide. The work entails the mechanical milling of the top 1-1/2 inches of roadway surface and repaving at a later date. Localized areas of roadway resurfacing include: Commonwealth Avenue (near #25)Elm Street (near bridge) Old Marlboro Road Main Street (at Thoreau Street) ORNAC, Garrison RoadHawthorne Lane (at Triangle)Heavy equipment will be present and on so residents can expect some noise. Alternating traffic will be maintained, however, expect localized delays near the construction crews.
