Benny Dachshund Black & Tan dog from Lodi 2010. Anybody know him?

I have been trying to find the original owner of Benny the Dachshund since 2010 when I got him from the animal shelter in Teterboro. A woman was surrendering him and said she couldn't keep him after 2 weeks of babysitting him. I was leaving the shelter when i met her at the front desk and started a chat. I didn't want the dog to go in the back so I said I'd take him from her to try to find him a better home than the shelter on Craigslist. But after two weeks I fell in love. Benny is 16 years old tomorrow 2/2/22 and I would still like to see puppy pictures and also know his true birthday. If anybody knows of the family that had Benny in Lodi because this woman was only babysitting him and she couldn't keep him she said..she spoke broken English and said the owners went to Mexico & couldn't get back in the country that's all I know. I keep trying every couple years to find the owner and to let them know that Benny has been so loved and so well taken care of. I took him to the eye doctor last week and he has retinal degeneration and he can only see shadows and shapes the doctor said and there's no cure. So I give him extra kisses more than I usually do which is about a hundred a day. Just know that I've taken care of your Benny 12 years Feb 2nd and he's been the best thing that's ever happened in my life. I will put up a pictures of benny from yrs ago and some current pictures of him now. Maybe someone who knows him will come forward. He was already neutured so there is a record somewhere. Thank you
