We have openings for full-time Meter Readers in Kona! The selected candidate will drive throughout the Kona area while utilizing hand-held electronic devices to read meters. Previous experience driving and working in an outdoor environment or related field is required. This project will run for approximately 3 months with the possibility of extension. You must be able to work independently and have the flexibility to work 1-2 Saturdays a month. (808)329 0124 Hours Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am-4:30pm, 1-2 Saturdays per month Location Kailua-Kona, Big Island Pay $23 an hour Responsibilities Read electrical meters throughout the Kona area. Walk/climb in a variety of terrain. Utilize a four-wheel-drive vehicle. Qualifications Previous experience working in an outdoor environment, driving or other related field. Valid Hawaii driver's license with clean abstract, comfortable and able to operate a four-wheel-drive vehicle. Good communication and customer service skills. Must be physically able to spend much of the day walking and climbing in all-terrain. Comfortable coming into contact with dogs and other animals while out on the job. Familiarity with handheld devices and similar technology. Must be able to work independently. Familiarity with Kona (North and South District) preferred. Ability to work 1-2 Saturdays a month.
