Hello, I'd like to find a few people I can connect with and play original songs, ideas, jams, lyrics... Not covers. Either as a group or individually. I recently moved back to Boise for the fifth time. I think this time will be permanent. At least a couple years. I play guitar. Mostly finger style, with slaps and many 7th chords. I love playing nylon, faking jazz/Latin style. I play electric and acoustic, bass. I can mess around on drums and keyboard. Music that I like and can think of at the moment: My Bloody Valentine, Tycho, Kurt Vile, Amen Dunes, Courtney Barnett, Cate le Bon, Slowdive, Stereolab, Black Midi, Goon Sax, Choir Boy, DJ Shadow, CAN, Sublime, Old Time Relijun, Nick Drake, Black Sabbath, Thievery Corporation, Band of Horses, Boise Cover Band, Radiohead, Yo la Tengo, Joy Division, Sade, Portishead, Bob Marley, T.Rex, The Specials, Wolves in the Throne Room, DJ Shadow, Stick Figure, The Softies, Unwound, Joanna Newsom, Josh Homme, Stewart Copeland, Sonic Youth. I don't care what age you are or what you play. Singer/songwriter? Electronic, loops and samples?? I'm 52! Do you make up your own tunes/songs? improvise? I'd like to make friends and record stuff/ collaborate. No big expectations. I have no problem making up chord progressions and songs on the spot. -Mark
