"The Hooligans" are a fun bunch of seasoned players (ages range from our 50's plus), and although there have been multiple members of this band over the years, our core has stayed together for over 15 years now. We are known to many clubs, bars, and promotors and play classic rock, harder country, and R&B covers. We ARE NOT a full-time working band, but ultimately try play out two or three times per month maximum. We are looking for our fifth member and NOT a hired gun that plays for so many bands simultaneously that we end up last on the availability list for gigs. Currently we consist of a very talented vocalist/keyboardist, two really great guitarists (dual leads), and a kick-ass drummer. What we need is a very talented, diverse, and fun bassist who is also a quick learner and has a good work ethic. If you also sing leads or backups, even better, as we always pride ourselves on our good harmonies. We have all known each other for years and are all friends that have jobs, families, etc. We are not excessive drinkers and partiers, so if you have definite substance abuse habits then this is not the band for you.
