A celebration of black love, life and culture through the lens and words of Gainesville's most talented Black poets and artists Join the Bailey Learning and Arts Collective and the City of Gainesville for a night celebrating black love, life and culture through the images and words of Gainesville's most talented Black poets & artists. There will be plenty of food and drinks with music by D.J. Art. For our collective safety, masks are recommended unless you are reading a poem! The mission of the Bailey Learning and Arts Collective, Inc. is to help build knowledgeable, socially responsible communities and leaders utilizing a grassroots ideology, low and no-cost activities and arts promotion and instruction. Our goals are to offer events that promote individual and community activism and empowerment, to provide organizing expertise to individuals and organizations for community outreach efforts and to promote cultural, visual, and folk-art education through conferences, workshops, and community celebrations.
