Go Comedy Go is a weekly comedy showcase on Monday at 8 pm hosted by Danelle Porter. With local comics from all over. We've got a great show this week! Our headliner is the very funny Jamal Coleman. -featuring- Marla Massie Angelique Herrington TC Benitez Jamal Coleman is a seasoned entertainer starting and performing consistently across America's southwest and pacific northwest doing comedy, rap, improv, hosting and sound engineering. Jamal got into comedy as the sound technician at the Ontario Improv. His managers and coworkers encouraged him to try stand-up. As they put it “You’re funnier than the guy up there!” Jamal is a naturally likable, animated, and hilarious person. His material is honest, raw and unique in perspective and delivery. Beginning comedy at The Improv comedy clubs in the south west (Improvs: Brea, Irvine, Ontario,Tempe, San Jose, Levity Live). Jamal’s animated, likable, tell it like it is style helped him become a headliner early in his career. Jamal is described as a cartoon having creative turrets syndrome, but making sense in a way that makes you applaud. Jamal is a regular comedian and producer at The Improvs, The HaHa comedy club, The World Famous Comedy Store, Comedy palace, Madhouse, The Laugh Factory, Ice House comedy clubs and has been in all the hot rooms LA has to offer including comedy rap battles (2yr champion). Jamal has two brands. The Silly Ass Comedy Show (tour) and Chuckle and Flow of which the latter was highlighted in LA Weekly. Years of weekly, monthly and quarterly shows seasoned him as a producer and comedian earning him respectable kudos in the comedy community. Jamal has produced podcasts and radio shows ie: Jeff Garcia’s podcast debuting #1 on iTunes. Jamal has produced many video sketches such as the viral hit “We Take Bath Salts” by the Bath Salt Boyz. Jamal has appeared on ABC, CBS, VH1, BitesizeTV, The Side-Show Network, Culture Magazine, Currenttv.com, tvguide.com, the feature Dog Ship Records and more. With Jamal’s new streaming studio and production company. Jamal is now releasing comedy albums and specials from home not only for himself, but others as well.
