Kickoff event for April Child Abuse Prevention Month. This April, we are asking our partners and friends to join the Ohio Children's Trust Fund by recognizing the role that #EverydayOhioHeroes play in the lives of children. Through this campaign, we are celebrating the superpowers inherent within local individuals, organizations and communities. This April, #EverydayOhioHeroes are being called upon to “Mentor. Donate. Empower. And help prevent child abuse and neglect in your community.” To launch this April campaign, the Ohio Children's Trust Fund will be kicking off April National Child Abuse Prevention Month at the Ohio Statehouse Atrium on Monday, April 7, 2022 beginning at 10:00am. During the event we will honor the winners of the #EverydayOhioHerores contest from communities across Ohio. Helping us honor these Ohio heroes are child abuse and child neglect advocates and key stakeholders from across Ohio. Guests are welcome to arrive at 9:30am. There will be resources and information about programs and services across Ohio that are impacting the lives of families and children.
