Explore historic Old Town Alexandria as George Washington knew it by joining a free tour! Explore historic Old Town Alexandria as George Washington knew it! This popular two-hour guided walking tour will visit sites associated with Washington and his closest colleagues, including Christ Church, Light Horse Harry Lee’s house, the Lord Fairfax home, Washington’s townhouse, Gadsby’s Tavern, Duvall Tavern, Wise’s Tavern, the Carlyle House, Market Square, Ramsay House, the Apothecary Shop, and Gentry Row. The tour begins at the Christ Church entrance at 118 N. Washington Street. Masks will be required inside Christ Church. Reservations required. Every Sunday in February (7th, 14th, 21st & 28th) from 2:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m. FREE.
