Fast-growing short-term rentals management company looking for a reliable handyman/jack-of-all-trades. This position will be a mix of emergency repairs and regular preventative maintenance. Examples of possible issues are: broken bed frame, lights in a room aren't turning on, install a smart lock, troubleshoot a doorbell that isn't working, leak in the bathroom, fix a jammed doorknob, etc Examples of regular tasks: -take out trash bins to curb and bring then back/take to dump as needed -do weekly or biweekly walkthroughs of our properties in North Las Vegas/Vegas to ensure everything is in good shape for upcoming guests Ideal skills & qualifications: -General repairs -Painting -Furniture assembly -Electrical -Plumbing -Quick to respond and available for emergency requests -Flexible with schedule -Good communication skills and ability to clearly explain a problem and solution -Personable and will represent our company well if interacting with guests (must wear mask when interacting with guests) -Good relationships with specialists (plumbers/electricians) -Must have car. We will reimburse for mileage. A truck may be useful for some tasks but not a must. -Experience in property management a plus Note: This is a 1099 Contractor position. The hours will probably be part-time to start but expected to grow to full-time. We can also refer you to people in our network who need handyman help if you want more hours. Due to the nature of the business, there may be work on weekends, but you do get a certain amount of freedom and flexibility in your schedule.
