Job Description: Looking for hard working, positive individuals to take part in our team, as an Events Team Member. You work with 7 other teammates to turn something that is already beautiful into what we like to call our own Field of Dreams at Jack London State Historic Park in Glen Ellen, CA. Our Events Team is one of two teams devoted to this magic that happens over the Summer. Along with our Tech Team you will construct a masterpiece that seems impossible, but probable in what is already a picture perfect screen save in the heart of Wine Country. We are the first ones in and last ones out but are much appreciated. We attend community outreach programs, company dinners with our cast & crew, Skits Under the Stars (open mic night), and preview a performance before Opening Night. Responsibilities: Sets up and takes down each event or performance: tables, chairs, wine bars, and water coolers. Keep venues clean throughout the evenings with trash pick-up Restock water, ice, and wine/beer in all areas of the venue Load trucks with items needed at venues. Assist tech team with setting up and taking down rehearsal spaces Report to Events Supervisor Qualifications: Ability to lift 50+ pounds Self starter, fast learner, attention to detail Ability to work under strict deadlines Works well with others Driver's License. Experience driving a 16' long box truck. Must have transportation to/from work Work outdoors with various weather conditions: hot/cold Alignment with our Company Core Values @ www.bestnightever.org *The Company requires all employees and contractors to be fully vaccinated or obtain an approved exemption.
