Michael Fields' Annual Seed Swap is ON! Bring seeds to share and find new ones to get your 2022 garden off to a great start. Great gardens require healthy seeds! Join a community of gardeners and seed savers at the Michael Fields Ag Institute's beautiful facility to swap seeds for any garden--fruits, veggies, flowers, butterfly gardens, and more. The Institute has hosted the Seed Swap for 5+ years to support the southeast WI community to enjoy nature through gardening and producing healthy food for families. How does the Seed Swap work? Please bring some seeds you have leftover or have saved (no seeds older than 4 years please). We will have tables for each category of seed--leave yours and peruse the library yourself to take some new seeds home! This event is FREE except we ask that: --If you are going to take seeds, please bring some to share. --You consider donating to support the work that Michael Fields Ag Institute and friends are doing for the community. We will have a donation jar at the sign-up table. We are a non-profit organization with the mission to help rural and urban farm and agricultural communities in Wisconsin and beyond, be environmentally, economically, and socially healthy.
