Premier Martial Arts Graduation Your child has earned the privilege of participating in our graduation ceremony for promotion to the next belt rank if he/she has at least two black stripes and two colored stripes on his/her belt as a white belt or 3 colored stripes and 3 black stripes on his/her belt at the end of March they will be eligible to promote. At graduation, students will demonstrate various techniques, showcasing their improvement in mind, body, and spirit. Graduation is a time to celebrate their achievements, reflect on the previous three months' victories and challenges, and look ahead to future accomplishments. Please review the information below: - Black Belt and Premier Training students who are currently an Orange belt MUST participate in the Phase test in order to be eligible to promote to a purple belt. - For PMA KIDZ, TEENS, and ADULTS who are currently an orange belt in the Basic training program, please note you must register for Black Belt Training in order to promote to the next belt. - complete the required "Intent to Promote" form - return your "Intent to Promote" form to the front desk by MARCH 6th - Please note: if the form isn't signed and turned in by MARCH 6th a late fee of $10 will be assessed, and the student's graduation may be postponed. Students' uniforms must be complete with both gi top and pants (black or white) and current belt - Please ensure students arrive at least 30 minutes before start time - Family, friends, and non-testing students are welcome to the ceremony! We want all our students to feel celebrated and supported - At the end of the celebration, we invite you down to the gym floor to tie your belt on your child - after all, none of this would be possible without you. Remember to include the hashtag #PMALeander - We will use the entire gym floor, and both sides of the bleachers will be available to allow physical distancing between students and attendees during the event - Due to the current COVID stage, all attendees at indoor events in Leander ISD facilities are encouraged to wear a mask. We will continue to monitor the situation and update you on any changes from the district. - At the end of the ceremony, join us for an outdoor field day filled with games, food, and FUN!
