Register to attend the Sam Houston High School Black History Month Program! Open to parents, students & the community.
Sam Houston High School (SHHS) is hosting a Black History Month program for parents, students and community members on February 18, 2022, from 5:30-8 p.m. With a theme of “Good Trouble,” the program will pay homage to John Lewis, former United States Representative, American politician and Civil Rights activist. Lewis paved the way for many American minorities, and his legacy will live on through those who are willing to get in “good trouble” for civil rights.
The program will include performances by:
SHHS Choir SHHS Orchestra SHHS Dance Company SHHS Community Jazz BandAfrican Student Organization HHS Community Gospel Choir Dance by Texans Next Generation Poetry by the Young People of Color Be sure to register and come out with family and friends for an event you are sure to remember!
