Learn to Curl with Aksarben Curling and join other WWE members for our first Women Who Explore: Nebraska Event! WWE: Nebraska - Learn to Curl Baxter Arena, 2425 South 67th Street, Omaha, NE, 68182 3/13/2022 1115AM - 2PM $30 entry fee, paid directly to Aksarben Curling **THIS EVENT REQUIRES A PAID REGISTRATION with Aksarben Curling IN ADDITION TO the Eventbrite registration Bring your explorer spirit and join us for a Learn to Curl event. This event is provided by Aksarben Curling, and the WWE group will have a brief meet and greet before our first event. During the first hour you’ll learn the basics of the game and practice basic skills. The rest of the time will be spent playing a match. All equipment is provided by Aksarben Curling. Meet just inside the Westernmost doors at the Arena for a quick meet and greet before we begin the event. We will curl on the Holland Ice (past the big stairs & left at the skate shop). Parking: Park in lot 25 and enter the West doors What to bring: All registered participants are required to carry a personal hygiene kit which includes a mask/face covering and hand sanitizer. Be sure to Wear a clean pair of soft rubber sole grippy shoes and layered loose fitted clothes that will keep you warm at 40 degrees. ** PLEASE NOTE: Ambassadors are not wilderness first aid certified and are not guides. This is a casual get together for shared outdoor enthusiasts. Safety is a top priority; please plan accordingly.** By registering for this event, participants agree to abide by the guidelines set forth by Women Who Explore which include: Practice social distancing Carry a personal hygiene kit (mask and hand sanitizer) and have it available during the event Refrain from sharing transportation, gear, food or close spaces with others outside of your household Practice self-awareness and do not attend if you have had any flu-like symptoms, exposed to or have tested positive for Covid in the last 14 days. Post-event; anyone who develops flu-like symptoms within 14 days after joining an event should contact the ambassador and Women Who Explore at [email protected]. Liability Waiver: Friendly reminder that it is required to sign the e-waiver before attending your first Women Who Explore event. Please sign on an annual basis.
