Facilities Associate and Construction Helper (Factoria) Bellevue, WA DESCRIPTION We are looking for a highly responsible, trustworthy and hard working person with a great attitude. The primary focus of this position is to be part of our Property Maintenance and Construction Team. Duties include ensuring that the facility is operational with all utilities functioning properly, schedule and oversee maintenance repair work, assist with checking installation, servicing building equipment, overseeing security of building/grounds and understanding our HVAC system. You will also have the opportunity to build skills as you work directly with our tile installers, masons and carpenters on construction sites and tenant improvement projects. This is a multi-faceted position with lots of opportunity for advancement and new skills. It is best for a highly independent, positive and motivated person that takes pride in their surroundings. Most of our work is on the Eastside. REQUIREMENTS Be at least 18 years old. Have a current driver’s license with a clean record. Be able to pass a background check. Comfortable driving company van to pick up and deliver materials, tools or dispose of construction debris. Experience driving with trailers a plus Able to repeatedly and safely lift heavy items sometimes while navigating stairs and ladders. Great communication skills including being available and responsive by cell phone. Construction experience a plus, but aptitude and desire to learn is more important. EQUIPMENT AND TOOL FAMILIARITY: Comfortable with tasks like cleaning spark plugs, making gas mix, changing filters and sharpening blades/chains. Basic engine and equipment troubleshooting skills. Correct use of PPE and safety protocols. BENEFITS: Generous PTO package Health and Dental insurance 401K Compensation: $19-$26 per hour depending on experience, plus benefits.
