Rehoming our Loving 3 Year Old Cat

Description

We adopted Jane about two months ago and were hoping she could be a companion to our current cat. She is super friendly and loves to be cuddled! She's also quite talkative and will tell you that she wants lots of love. If we didn't already have a cat, she would be our dream kitty. Unfortunately, she is not comfortable living with our current cat, even with a gradual transition over the last two months. It breaks my heart to rehome her, but it is not fair to either cats to be living in a space where they aren't comfortable. Jane is about 8 pounds and she feels kitten sized when you pick her up because she is so light. She is three years old and has been spayed and got her last set of vaccinations at the shelter we got her at two months ago. We have all of her records from the shelter and she should just need a vet check-up when you get her. We are not asking for an adoption fee because we only care that she gets sent to a good, loving family. When contacting about her, we ask that you answer these questions in your email: 1. Why are you looking to add a new pet to your household? 2. What is your lifestyle like? How long will she be left alone every day? 3. Do you have a veterinarian or know where you can take her when you first get her? 4. Do you rent? If so, does your lease allow pets? 5. Who will be living with Jane? Do you have any pets? Please do not contact us unless you plan for Jane to be your only pet for the foreseeable future. **Jane must be kept indoors. She has only ever been an indoor cat and we don't believe she would be safe in an open outdoor setting.**
