Put your Skills to the Test
Oftentimes, the medical aspect of Force on Force training is over simplified or ignored completely. The purpose of this course is to provide straight forward force on force scenarios that have a conclusion to the violent confrontation and then transition to the application of medical interventions to injuries sustained during the aforementioned violence.
This course uses force on force scenarios to combine action upon contact drills with the appropriate use of medical skills following the fight. There is an emphasis on the concepts laid forth in the Wyatt Protocol/FAST mnemonic with the students having to perform the “Treat Injuries” portion of the protocol to its logical conclusion in addition to the rest of FAST.
This Course is about the recognition, implementation, and appropriate transition of skills that are necessary to survive a confrontation.
***There is a prerequisite for this course, with either a previous medical course from Iron Forge Consulting Group or an in date TCCC/TECC Certificate from the National Association of EMTs. This is required because we will be testing previously acquired skills and there isn't enough time to bring someone up to speed.***
*Iron Forge Consulting Group DOES NOT issue refunds. The only exception for refunds to be issued is in the event of a cancelled course. Course tuition can be transferred to another course if the student requests their tuition be transferred no less than 30 days before the original course is scheduled to begin.
