A journey through the book of Esther. God is with you! God is for you! God is reigning in your life!You are invited to join us as we journey through the book of Esther with an Esther fast, Purim celebration, and powerful teachings that show us how God is still sovereignly at work in our times and in our circumstances. The account of Esther is a dramatic expansion of the truth of Romans 8:28. I know of no other book that so thoroughly builds the faith of God's people, in the most practical ways. Though God isn't the cause of all things, He is the cause of all things working together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purposes. You really can't know the truth about anything unless you can see God in the midst of everything accomplishing His sovereign purposes. Studying the book of Esther has changed my life and will radically change yours, too. You will learn to see from Heaven instead of looking toward Heaven. Doubtless, God gave us the book of Esther to build our faith amidst the confusion and contradictions of life. The book's greatness is that it explains for us what God is doing when it appears that He is silent. When we face the trials of life, we can be confident that He is always reigning. Whenever it looks like the enemy is winning, we can be sure that God is advancing! Jesus is reigning, and His kingdom is advancing regardless of what you see being played out before you in the public arena – NATIONALLY, CULTURALLY, IN THE WORLD AROUND US, AND IN OUR DAILY PERSONAL LIVES. Before the first conference session even begins, you are invited to join in the journey as we observe the Fast of Esther 2022 beginning at dawn on Wednesday, March 16, until nightfall. Then the festival of Purim, commemorating the divinely orchestrated salvation of the Jewish people in the ancient Persian Empire from Haman's plot "to destroy, kill and annihilate all the Jews, young and old, infants and women, in a single day," begins Wednesday night and continues through Thursday.  Our Wednesday night and Thursday morning teachings will prepare us for a grand Purim celebration together with the children of Cathedral Christian Academy.  We will have a fun, interactive reading of the book of Esther, feasting, and merriment, for we truly have much to celebrate, not only from the past but also in the present and future! Our powerful, loving God is still on the throne and reigns victoriously in our lives today! Registration is needed for this free event so we can prepare enough food for the celebration and send you information and preparation ideas prior to the conference. Registration is required for all children attending the nursery.
