SHARON, MA — Police are responding to a tractor-trailer crash in Sharon Tuesday afternoon that left serious injuries and heavy traffic delays. State troopers say a crash between a tractor-trailer and another car has left "serious injuries," but have not specified how many people were injured or what the extent of their injuries are. The Walpole Police Department is assisting Sharon police to investigate the cause of the crash. Route 1 Southbound was closed for a short amount of time but has since reopened. Police are redirecting traffic to Route 95 South while crews work to clean up the scene. Police are asking everyone to avoid the area near High Plain Street at Route 27.
