The Chamber wants to hear from you and to develop collaborative solutions that will lead to reinvigorated business and partnerships in 2022. The Southwest Michigan First Chamber is dedicated to fostering connection, collaboration and growth with our small business community and its leaders throughout greater Kalamazoo County. The Chamber supports the mission of Southwest Michigan First, not only in its support of the creation of well-paying jobs, but also through strengthening our existing small business community. A strong small business presence is a proven key attractor for new businesses and a reason why families, existing companies and their employees want to stay here. Did you know we currently serve nearly 100 Portage businesses as part of our Chamber? Whether you employ three or thousands, the Southwest Michigan First Chamber is here to support and connect your business to the resources in our community. We hear the Portage business community’s concerns and we want to connect with every business here to provide the support you need, especially in times like these. We know your schedule is busy, so to accommodate as many owners as possible, we are partnering with the local owners and leaders at Presidential Brewing and the Air Zoo to host (2) townhall-style gatherings on February 17, 2022. We want hear from you, learn from you, and share business support options for 2022 and beyond. Bring your ideas, your challenges, and your neighbors! We’ll bring the food, local resource experts, and city officials to hear from you and to begin to develop collaborative solutions that will lead to reinvigorated partnerships for a stronger 2022. This morning session will be held at the Air Zoo from 8:30 am – 10:00 am. The afternoon session will be held at Presidential Brewing from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm.
