Krewe Invitational Open Mic! Comedy Night FUNdraiser with Krewe de Kannabis Calling all Krewe Konnected funny folks!!! Perfect for an April's Fools Friday night, but let's not joke about what we're doing here...we're raising some funds for the Krewe de Kannabis' efforts and advocacy work in our community and beyond! Please join us for a hilarious night with a cannabis focused spin on April Fool's Day! This is an All Krewe Invitational OPEN MIC NIGHT comedy show, so if you're part of a Krewe or want to be, and interested in taking the mic for some ganja jokes, we'd LOVE to see what you got! Note: This is NOT a competition, however participation prizes for the best cannabis inspired jokes are up for grabs by silent crowd judges. Thank you to Gulf Coast Brewery for donating the space! Doors open at 6ish, show starts at 7. We will also have door prizes, 50/50 raffle, and Food Truck on site. Bar carries beer/wine to order. Wear your best cannabis culture attire, but please be comfy & cozy. Please purchase tickets ahead of entry. Space is limited, and we'd like to attempt to set up enough seating. Our last event was standing room only after 7. No ticket - no entry. No refunds for no shows. Thank you for your donation! If space allows, you can get tickets at the door the day of the event ($15 in advance, $20 at the door). Encourage social distancing, masks optional. Judgement free zone. We actively raise money to keep our Krewe evolving, float upkeep, events, parade, and community presence. Krewe de Kannabis recently donated over $500 to Cannabis @ the Capitol Advocacy and Lobbying day on January 24, 2022 with Florida Cannabis Action Network and Weed for Warriors Veterans Organization. There are almost 60 cannabis-related legislative change bills on the table in Florida this legislative session, however full legalization's focus has shifted to 2024.
