Cohasset Police Help Rescue Injured 70-Year-Old Hiker In The Snow

COHASSET, MA — Cohasset police helped rescued an elderly woman after she injured herself hiking in Cohasset Monday. Police say the 70-year-old woman was hiking the Whitney Spur Trail in the snow when she hurt herself and got stuck after hiking deep into the woods and snow. After about two hours, police, firefighters, and a DPW loader were able to help get her to safety. Police say she was taken to South Shore Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No further information was immediately released.
