Description
FRAMINGHAM, MA — An Ashland man's routine trip to a Framingham corner store turned into a big payday.
Gerald Grant went to A.V.'s Market II, 890 Waverly St., in January to buy an orange juice for his granddaughter. Grant decided to pick up a "The Fastest Road to $1 Million" scratch ticket too.
Grant won the $1 million grand prize. He chose the $650,000 pre-tax lump sum, according to the state lottery commission.
For selling a big winning ticket, A.V.'s Market II will get a $10,000 bonus from the lottery commission.
