BEVERLY, MA — Beverly Hospital frontline staff indulged their sweet tooths through the efforts of a group of Manchester Essex Regional Middle School students.
The students hosted a walk-a-thon to raise money for the Feed the Frontlines North Shore organization that donates meals for Beverly Hospital staff during their long and busy shifts.
The efforts of the students were enough to buy 2,200 freshly baked cookies from Cookie Monstah. The students also delivered handmade signs they created to show support for the workers during the recent staff shortages and coronavirus patient surge.
"The entire hospital thanks the students for adding some sweetness to their day," a Beverly Hospital spokesman said.
