Police Looking For Springdale Tire Slasher: Stamford PD

STAMFORD, CT — Stamford police are looking for a person who they say slashed a resident's car tires twice over the past month. According to security camera footage from a home on Minivale Road in the Springdale section of Stamford, around 3:54 a.m. on Jan. 30, an unknown person wearing dark clothing, a face covering and a hood can be seen walking towards a 2019 Toyota Camry that's parked in a driveway. The person slashed all four tires on the car with a sharp object before they walked away out of view. Sgt. Sean Scanlan of the Stamford Police Department's Property Crime Unit said this was the second time over the past month the victim has had their car tires slashed.
