Arlington Police Raise $7K+ During 'No Shave' Months

ARLINGTON, MA — The Arlington Police Department raised and donated nearly $8,000 to Massachusetts General Hospital for cancer research during its "No Shave" months of November and December. Isabella Camello, development coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital, came to the Arlington Police Station on Monday to receive the donation of $7,985. Chief Juliann Flaherty gave the Arlington Police Department the green light to grow out their facial hair for two months if they donated $200 each to cancer research. Many police officers in Arlington have had their lives impacted by cancer, including retired Lt. Dan Kelly, who has been treated at MGH.
