CANTON, MA — Canton police were combing the area around York Street Tuesday morning after a woman was hit with a stray bullet Monday night. Police alerted residents on Tuesday that K-9 units were searching the area for evidence. Police said they were not actively searching for suspects on Tuesday. Police still investigating at the home where a woman was shot. Residents in the area were advised to seek alternate routes around the detoured streets. York Street was reopened about 2 a.m. Attention York Street area residents.
