CANTON, MA — Canton police said two suspects were in custody midday Thursday after a search of the Turnpike Street neighborhood. Police said Canton, Boston and State Police conducted the house-to-house search, along with K9 units, for one potentially armed suspect near Ponkapoag Golf Course following a vehicle chase in the morning. Second suspect is in custody. There will be a continued police presence in the area conducting an evidentiary search. Canton Police, Boston Police and @MassStatePolice are currently searching for a suspect in the area of 116 Turnpike Street. There are K9s working the area, if you live in the vicinity please remain inside and lock your doors while we conduct the search. Police said the suspect fled from a car chase near the Stoughton line. State Police said a second suspect from the chase was in custody late Thursday morning.
