MERCER COUNTY, NJ — The new, state-of-the-art indoor pickleball facility in Mercer County will celebrate its grand opening on Feb. 15. The Mercer Bucks Pickleball Club (MBPC) is the first such facility of its kind. With nine indoor courts, the 26,000 square-foot facility will be the largest indoor Pickleball facility in the Northeast, according to the MBPC. The facility is located in Ewing Township. The indoor club opens at noon for members and guests. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for Feb. 18, at 11 a.m. The facility is a brainchild of two recently retired couples from Yardley, PA, who started playing pickleball together in the fall of 2020. LED lights will provide proper visibility and eliminate glare.Meanwhile, the climate-controlled environment will ensure perfect "pickleball weather" at the club, said the MBPC. Between games, players can catch a game of cornhole, relax in the spacious lounge, or enjoy the grab-and-go MBPC Café with light snacks. There's also a private event room that can host birthday parties, social gatherings, or serve as a meeting space for business and team-building events. The facility is located at 370 Sullivan Way, Ewing NJ.
