Here are the top three stories in Des Moines today: Drivers in downtown Des Moines can soon enjoy the City's new, high-tech parking system. After weather-related delays, crews are back on the job, replacing the traditional parking meters with new app-friendly kiosks. The parking system is scheduled to begin partial service in a few weeks, wrapping up completely by the end of summer. (KCCI Des Moines)Des Moines' Ingersoll Theatre, which has sat vacant for the last eight years, is now at a crossroads. A potential buyer wants to restore the theater, but the building may not be structurally sound. City permit and development staff recently toured the 83-year-old venue and found several holes in the roof, as well as interior water damage from rain and snow. (Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier)Two teenagers are accused of opening fire in the Court Avenue District on Monday. Security cameras captured two males, a 16-year-old and a 14-year-old, shooting at a car. Des Moines Police found the older teen with a gun, and believe the younger teen discarded his before the arrest.
