Camelot Couple Faces Child Pornography Charges: Sheriff

JOLIET, IL — The Will County Sheriff's Office said that a married couple who live in the Camelot subdivision face felony child pornography charges. Justin Russell, 33, and Lauren Russell, 27, live in the 24400 block of West Kipling Court, sheriff's officials said. Around Dec. 16, sheriff's detectives received a tip that Justin and Lauren Russell were sharing and uploading multiple images and videos of child pornography, authorities said. The couple's residence is considered Joliet Township, police said. Detectives got a search warrant on Jan. 11 and raided the Russell residence the next day, police said. Electronic devices and additional evidence were seized for forensic examination. The Russell's were at the residence at the time of the raid. They both refused to speak with detectives and exercised their rights to an attorney, authorities said. On Tuesday, Justin Russell and Lauren Russell were arrested at their home on three counts of child pornography. Each has a $5 million bail, police said. Justin Russell was booked into jail at 7:45 a.m. His wife, Lauren, was booked into the jail at 7:47 a.m.
