Press release from the University of Toledo: 2022-02-01 The University of Toledo Medical Center is proud to support the V Project, a local grassroots community initiative, in its effort to promote vaccination against COVID-19. Recently, UTMC joined other northwest Ohio healthcare providers for a public service announcement about the urgent need for people to get vaccinated to protect themselves and reduce the strain in local hospitals. The V Project was created in late 2020 with the goal of helping to get 70% of the population in both Lucas and Wood counties vaccinated against COVID-19.
