Since the pandemic began, the problem has grown, and so have the challenges felt by business owners. The Savannah Area Chamber recently met with the City of Savannah, Chatham County, Savannah Police Department, and several area housing and homeless authorities to discuss short-term and long-term solutions to provide services for this vulnerable population.
