Bannock Street, Denver, CO 80223 PURPOSE: Mobile Maintenance Mechanic: Responsible for maintaining plant equipment in a state of readiness. Performs the appropriate plant production equipment inspections and preventative maintenance. Performs required plant equipment maintenance. Informs supervisor of conditions that could impact production. Prepares all required daily/weekly department operating reports. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES •Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas. •Inspects condition and operation of plant equipment and performs necessary repairs and adjustments. Reports required repairs or other findings to Supervisor. •Performs required emergency repairs on production equipment required to address plant breakdowns. •Adheres to all safety, environmental and company policies and procedures in completing daily tasks, and completes all required paperwork in a timely fashion. •Lock-Out,/Tag-Out experience •Welding experience. Working with acetylene torches, hand tools, hydraulic and air-powered tools •Experience working in confined spaces •Complete work orders in a timely manner; installing, repairing and fabricating materials out of metal; ensuring availability and functioning of required items; and ensuring safety and resolving immediate safety concerns. Perform the appropriate plant equipment inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance for both fixed and mobile equipment. Responsible for preparing and welding steel and aluminum structures, appendages and equipment. Perform routine preventative maintenance on plant and mobile equipment including handling welding repairs. Conducts routine inspections of plant and mobile equipment and report findings to supervisor. •Prepare Plant reports as required and maintain an inventory of regularly used repair supplies or equipment. Assists personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities. Responds to emergency situations as needed and/or assigned for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns. •Performs repairs as required on plant processing equipment and performs maintenance on plant grounds as required. Maintains shop, equipment, tools, vehicles, etc. for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required items and ensuring safety. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Required Education: High School diploma/GED Required Work Experience: Minimum of two (2) years experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in heavy industry. Additional Experience Preferred: Working knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems as well as the use of all shop equipment such as welding and machining equipment. Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software.
