We are seeking a new home for our pet parrotlet, Hushi. We are finding a new home for him because we don't have enough time to give him the love and attention he deserves. He is also a bit loud, since we have a new baby in the house. However as parrots go, parrotlets are quieter than most. He will be a wonderful pet for someone who has time for him. He's a little timid at first, but will warm up quickly. He could certainly become hand tame with someone who is patient with him. If you are not familiar with parrotlets, please research before deciding to adopt. They are smart and feisty, and known to have a big parrot's personality in a tiny bird's body. They need a lot of interaction with lots of things to do inside their cages.
He hatched in May, so is a young bird. He was handfed, though he will need more socialization and patience to become hand-tamed.
I am asking for a $120 rehoming fee. This fee is well below what I spent on the cage, toys, and the bird itself. I want to ensure he goes to the right home. We have a busy house with 4 children, and I think Hushi would be better off with someone who is looking for a sweet birdy friend that they can spend quality time with.
Please send me a text or email if interested. To good home only.
