A utility construction company, is looking for a full-time experienced mechanic to service our growing fleet in RGV, Corpus Christi and possibly San Antonio. Good work ethic and a valid Driver's License is a must.
Job requirements: must have basic mechanic skills, experience with commercial trucks such as 6.0,7.3, F550 and F450 and Chevy 6.6 plus diesel equipment. Basic maintenance including oil changes, oil filters, fuel filter changes, lights on trucks and trailers, batteries, alternators, freeze plugs, clutch replacement, front end work and all other maintenance issues. Applicant needs to show ability to maintain maintenance logs and actively monitor fleet status.
There will be at least 30% travel which this person would be traveling 8-10 days a month from RGV to Corpus Christi and sometimes to other areas at times when needed.
Welding, torch, electrical or hydraulic experience is a plus.
