Auto transmission work needed hopefully minor Saturn 2006

2006 Saturn Vue 3.5l V6 AWD automatic. Last two days gears have been slipping, worse and worse, RPMs racing with little or no motion, dash light indicating automatic transmission fluid overheating, after letting it rest for a little while, car would travel okay a decent distance depending on how how long it had been allowed to cool. Garage diagnosis reads "TCM/ transmission internal failure, pressure control solenoid/TCM failure." I am a relatively poor uber Lyft driver. Truck is in Forsyth, but I live and drive in Macon.
