BROOKLINE, MA — Brookline remains at low risk for COVID-19 spread, state health officials said Wednesday in their weekly update.
The town has seen 509 coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic, an increase of 13 since last week's update. The two-week case count is at 29.
Brookline's two-week positive test rate increased slightly from .29 percent to .33 percent.
The average daily incidence rate per 100,000 residents also inched upward, moving from 3 to 3.22. A community will move to yellow when that numbers goes above 4, and it will become unshaded/gray when there are less fewer than five reported cases overall.
