Job Description: Material Handler/Forklift Operator SHIFT: M-F 7:30AM-4:30PM APPLY DIRECTLY AT: 3663 N.SAM HOUSTON PKWY EAST, SUITE. 600 HOUSTON, TX 77032 Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials, equipment, and supplies, which may require the lifting of heavy objects. Activities are procedural and well-defined, requiring limited decision-making. Essential job functions: *Assists in Inventory Control. *Distribute or deliver items to appropriate departments. *Utilizes computerized or automated systems to accomplish tasks. Knowledge, skills, and abilities: *Knowledge of record-keeping practices and basic arithmetic. *Knowledge of safety practices. *Skill in operating automotive, materials handling, and office equipment. *Skill in lifting heavy packages and objects. *Skill in following both verbal and written instructions. Performance Standards: Material delivered timely to production departments. Inventory part & pieces of accurate control. The ability to communicate effectively with and work with other personnel.
