BROOKLINE, MA — Two Brookline parents, their baby and a dog were injured in a crash on Interstate 93 Monday evening in New Hampshire, when a BMW crashed into the car they were in, pushing it off the road, causing it to roll over, according to New Hampshire State Police. Several witnesses told police that the driver of the BMW, traveling at speeds well over 100 mph at the time of the crash, hit the car, which then rolled over several times. Witnesses said the driver of the BMW then left his car and took off running into the woods along the highway. When emergency responders arrived, they found the driver of the Subaru, Jonathan Quinn, 41, and front seat passenger Stephanie Schneider, 39 injured. Quinn and Schneider were traveling with their infant daughter and dog. The dog was transported to a local veterinary hospital with life-threatening injuries. Quinn, Schneider and the baby were transported to the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire. Schneider sustained serious injuries and Quinn and their daughter sustained minor injuries, according to police. After witnesses described the BMW driver, police canvassed the area with a state police K-9. Shortly thereafter, they found Patrick Giberson, 36, of Manchester, New Hampshire and arrested him.
