BROOKLINE, MA — An SUV crashed into the Goddard House near the border with Jamaica Plain Thursday afternoon, damaging the building. No one inside or outside was injured. "An employee who was driving in the employee/service parking area lost control of the vehicle and it crashed into an apartment that was unoccupied at the time of the crash," Goddard House Executive Director Carolyn Sandel said in a statement. Crews are making repairs to the building, she told Patch. "We are thankful for Brookline emergency responders' prompt response," she said. Friday, a section of the building had been boarded up, and two parking spaces on the employee entrance side were blocked off with orange cones.
