OP/ As long as there are plenty of qualified black women for the job, and there are,.. why not appoint a black woman to the Supreme Court? Biden promised he would make this move during the campaign. People respect and appreciate the Biden is making good on his promises. Picking a black woman to fill the vacant seat on the court should not come as a surprise to anyone. Just as Trump picking an entitled pasty white guy to the courts should not have come as a surprise to anyone. Biden has hired diverse candidates throughout his cabinet. Clearly Biden thinks diversity in politics is a big part of draining the swamp. I agree with him 100% -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Qualified? When that means being a women and being black there are plenty of them. Cuz when you see a women and she is black that is all you need to know about her to make her qualified. It does not matter what she believes or her views on the constitution or is she patriotic or a Marxist or maybe she wants to overturn Roe. Since black women all think the same it really does not matter which one it is. And the republicans can not oppose her cuz that would be sexist and racist. They can not drag her name thru the mud like Biden did to Judge Bork. Or Clarence Thomas. Or Cavanaugh. They were not diverse enough. It was not their sex or skin color and the things that matter.It was their thoughts. They had bad thoughts that are different and not like those of a black women. Like Joy Reed.
