Description

We are hiring a temporary Production Assistant to join our team at our warehouse in NW Portland! The Production Assistants works effectively and efficiently in handling materials and package, ensuring safe handling; fill packaging and cases product to be stored and shipped out to customers. The majority of this role will be putting individual pouches into cases and labeling them accordingly. You will need to keep track of how many pouches have been placed in each box (5-10 depending on the product). You must be ready to do repetitive packaging work at a consistent rate, be ok working independently and self-managing. This position is designed as a temporary position but can grow into an ongoing position (when needed) if the person is a good fit and performance measures are met. Shift: 4-5 days per week 8 hour shifts Requirements: Previous production/packaging experience HIGHLY PREFERRED Ability to stand in one place for an extended period of time Ability to work at a fast, consistent pace Ability to count/calculate boxing amounts while filling Good collaboration and verbal communication Comfortable working independently and with a small team (less than 5 people) Ability to maintain focus unsupervised High attention to detail and punctual Location: Industrial NW PDX (please be sure you can make the commute conveniently before applying) Submit Resume and Phone Number to be considered.
