Precision Rentals is a locally owned and operated equipment rental company doing business since 2006! We offer a large selection of rental equipment for a variety of jobs. Part of our inventory includes forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and light towers. We are looking for a yard person to join our exciting and growing team! The ideal candidate must have a good work ethic, good people skills, and be able to deliver messages, and keep files on fuel logs organized. This position requires to work outside exposing the candidate to various types of weather. Part of the job duties include to report any damaged equipment found during check-ins to the supervisor and work with counter personnel on assisting customers with any questions or information needed. Additional qualifications are: • Good communication skills to assist Customers • Good organizational skills to keep equipment clean and organized • Able to read/write English fluently • Able to safely operate various types of equipment • Able to wear safety fall protection • Must be motivated and a self-starter • Must provide a good Motor Vehicle Record at time of job offer Job Duties & Responsibilities include: • Assists with loading and unloading equipment for outside haulers. • Advises customers on proper equipment handling techniques • Fuels and meters equipment upon check-in • Stages equipment for deliveries • Ensures yard is neat and efficient and picks up shop waste • Must be able to proficiently operate all equipment • Ensures that all rental equipment is properly tagged and has required key • May be required to drive company vehicle on occasion • Other duties or tasks may be assigned on an as-needed basis Come and join our team!
