Worried about losing your car registration-scan and copy it!

I had to scan my registration to get my parking sticker for my condo parking. I lost track of it (never got it back into the glove box) and had to have it to for my inspection sticker. This is not the first time I lost one of these(pain in the A to replace and cost $) I still had it in my computer so I printed one out and IT WORKED!! Not even a dirty look from the mechanic(I don't think he even knew) From now on I will scan every new registration in to my computer just for such an emergency.
