Type: General Labor/Pallet Assembly Shift: Day Shift (7:00 am - 3:30 pm) / Full Time Southern Milling and Lumber is looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals who are seeking a career opportunity in the lumber industry. Candidates who will be considered for this position must have knowledge of the industry and background in production. All applicants must be: able to pass a drug test able to be E-Verified 18 years of age Job Description: Nailing components together to assemble a pallet quickly and safely. Ability to use a nail gun. Read and use a tape measure. Responsibilities: Assembling a pallet with 85% or better production rate. Keeping work area clean. Follow all safety procedures per company guidelines. Good attendance. Perform other tasks when asked to by supervisors. Physical Requirements: Ability to use hands grasping and pressing down nail gun for 8 – 10 hours per day. Standing and walking for 8 – 10 hours per day. Bending and reaching Lifting lumber up to 50 lbs. Benefits: Medical Dental Life 401K
