We are looking for a Mechanic to join our team! We are the Long Island Dealer and Service center for Seagrave Fire Apparatus as well as a designated service center for Northwell Ambulance. If you love working on really cool trucks come check us out. You will be responsible for service and repair of various emergency vehicles. Responsibilities: • Repair medium duty ambulance and fire trucks • Perform routine vehicle maintenance • Use diagnostic tools to test components • Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer Qualifications: • Previous experience as a mechanic, with EVT and ASE certifications a plus • Knowledge of shop equipment • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills • Deadline and detail-oriented • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Capacity to learn new skills We will pay for certifications and testing and are looking for someone who is willing to learn new skills working on specialty vehicles.
