Description

We are looking for laborers, no experience necessary, for a manufacturing warehouse in NJ. The laborer performs tasks involving physical labor at residential and commercial building projects. The position may operate a variety of tools and may clean and prepare sites, clean up rubble and debris, and remove waste materials. The position may include loading, transporting and unloading equipment and materials. The laborer may also assist other craft workers and may require other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES -Assist in building and maintaining structures for residential, business, and other undeveloped sites. -Participate in demolitions. -Use a variety of tools and machines, such as levels, various hand tools, grinders, saws, pressure washers and water spraying equipment. -Set up and sometimes work on then also take down ladders and other temporary structures. -Maintain a clean job site by picking up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards. -Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. -Driving Responsibilities, if / when assigned: -Transports various materials and equipment from one job site or location to another. -Identifies, loads, transports, packs, removes/unloads, and disposes of materials. -Follows safety procedures and regulations, including using hand trucks and other tools for loading/unloading heavy items, wearing special protective gear and disposing of materials as regulated by law (if and when applicable). -Keeps vehicle clean and maintained at all times. -Ensures that all deliveries have been delivered to correct destination and recipient. -Follows a schedule to ensure timely delivery. -Charts out best route possible in order to save time. -Maintains logs and receipts for gas, mileage, tolls, etc. REQUIREMENTS: valid drivers license HS Diploma/equivalent Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance
