Looking for an experienced welder professional with his own welding equipment for a 3-4 week-long project. The project is converting a standard 30-yard dumpster (in the photo attached) container into a sealed and water-tight container with 2 side openings reinforced with square tubes. The existing door that you can see in the photo will need to be welded closed and watertight. On one of the photos, you can see an approximate opening size that we'll need to be cut out and edges of which need to be framed with a 1-inch square steel tube (shown on another photo as an example). Working on-site in Brooklyn/East Williamsburg. Have to be able to produce watertight welds. The project involves cutting and welding 3/16th inch steel sheets and steel square tubes. The project involves grinding welds to achieve a smooth finish. The project involves grinding off or sanding off existing paint on the inside of the container.
